You won’t believe it but everyone has gone out! So I have made another card! That’s three and still counting!

I think I'm turning Japanese

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a good evening. Tonight I have made a card on a Japanese theme. All of the items used are from my stash and have been there for quite some time. First I added stitching then layered the papers. I coloured Tilda in copic’s and stuck her on with foam tabs. I added a butterfly brad, some lovely lotus flowers, some pearl hearts and some diamonds. To finish I added the Japanese sign for love and a happy birthday, as the card is for a special friend who loves Japan.

Tabia and her fairy bubbles pop one and your wish comes true

Hello everyone, are you having a good weekend? I am. I had a lovely day yesterday with my husband and I am going to have a rest today, as my daughter has a full week planned of wedding preparations.

Today I have made a box to put marshmallows and chocolate in for a fondue. It took me quite a long time as I made the pattern out of my head. I have used one of my favourite colour combos of orange, puce, pink and purple. I have used a lovely digital kit for the papers it is Admiration from Sara Amarie, sorry I don’t have an address. I coloured the beautiful digital stamp, Tabia and her fairy bubbles, from Mo’s Digital Pencils, at http://digitalpenciltoo.com/index.php/Fantastical.html with copic’s and glitter gel pens and I stuck her on with foam tabs for dimension. Lastly I added some sparkly beads to look like bubbles. I hope you like it, Lynn

I have had a much better night tonight and stuck with my first image which is Shopping Tween, a wonderful free download from Digi’s with Attitude, at http://www.digiswithattitude.com/free.aspx. I coloured her hair and skin with copic’s. I wanted her dress to be puffy so I flocked it, the first time I have used it and I love it. Then I coloured three of the bags and the boots with glitter gel pens to give it a little bling. I coloured the other three bags by embossing them with embossing powder and a heat gun. I popped some glitter on the card and added some blue glitter buttons with ribbon ties. I then cut out the puffy felt hearts and put a blunt pin through one, ( I glued the pin in place for safety). The card is old from my stash. Lastly I added the diamante flowers.

Waiting for the butterflies, ladybirds and bees

This card was ever harder than the last one, I spent all night on it and still did not finish it. It took me another two hours today to get it done. That is quite unusual for me as I usually get the idea and that is it, but again I made two different toppers before I got it right.

I think though that I got there in the end and I really like the way it has turned out, what do you think?

The papers are from the Strolling Through the Park One Day digi kit, from Just So Scrappy Two at http://justsoscrappytoo.com/, they are very, very nice. I have stuck them on with foam tabs for dimension. The Image is a digi image, The end of Summer, from Mo’s digital pencils at http://digitalpenciltoo.com/. I coloured it with copic’s then I coloured the centres of the flowers with gold gel pen and finished the image with some green chalk. I used some flowers from my stash and toped them with the tinny buttons from papermaina. Lastly I added a ladybird from my stash.

Hello I have been working for hours on this card. It has had 4 different Tilda's on it! I could not get the colour right, I am still not sure what do you think?

Anyway I use one of the new Tilda's and coloured her with copics. I used the papers from Shabby Princes I think they are called Summer breeze. To finish I put on some plastic hearts and buttons.

I just adore these two little Sarah Kay children they are so sweet. I coloured them with copic's and cut them out so they would stand off the page. The Paper is Classic Beauty, from Just So Scrappy Too. I printed and cut out the flowers before putting some punched petals and leaves on then toped them off with some Papermaina flowers. The butterfly also came in the digi set, but the hearts and ribbon are old ones from my stash.

My Favourite Designer Charles Rene Mackintosh

I found this stamp at a car-boot sale and have loved it ever since. It is the Mackintosh Rose in the shape of a heart that I coloured with copic's. The paper is from, would you believe it a moment ago I had it but it has gone right out of my mind! I know it is called Love Always but I cant remember the rest. I have even looked in photo shop but no luck. it will come to me in a moment. Anyway I then put an overlay on it in photo shop and layered it with foam tabs for dimension.

Hello everyone, thank goodness it's Friday! It has been such a long week, I can't wait for half term. I am a bit late this evening as I am getting ready to go to a crop tomorrow. It does take a lot of getting things ready and making sure I don't forget any important bits, once I went and left my craft bag at home!

Anyway tonight I have made a Harry Potter card from the lovely image I won from the Pixie Dust Challenge at pixieduststudio.net. The papers are quite old from a free set from Paper Moon and I am not sure where Hedwig came from. I used foam tabs to add some dimension and some metal corners and ribbon from my stash. To finish I added three tinny Papermaina buttons with thread to the top. I think he look cute how about you?

My Sweet Love Chocolate Box

Hello everyone. I have just finished this chocolate box for my daughters boyfriend to give to her. She is allergic to chocolate poor thing so we make her a box and fill it with things she can eat.

I made this one from the Sweet Love Kit from Just So Scrappy Too, and the Magnolia Tilda and butterflies are from the Fairy Tail Collection. Lastly I added some organza ribbon to make a flower.

You can have my heart

Hello I have made this card funny for my husband on valentines, I keep making new ones but none seem to be quite right.

I started this one by pleating some tissue. Then I layered several sheets of card and put on a Penny Black image, which I coloured with copic's. The flowers and small buttons are from papermaina and I punched the leafs with a Woodwaer craft collection punch. The other buttons are from my stash. Lastly I added the sentiment as I felt the cat would not give up the chocolates.
