I give you my Heart

Hello, I am having a good crafting day today and have managed to make two cards.

The first is a sketch from Critters Sketch challenge at http://critterchallengeblog.blogspot.com/ which I thought would make a better man's card than the flowery ones I have been making. I put it with a colour challenge from Craft Your Days Away at http://craftyourdaysaway.blogspot.com/ which gives a nice warm feel. I stamped the Mouse House stamp Paper Clip Heart, from Card Craft UK, at http://www.cardcraft-uk.co.uk and coloured it with copic’s. I wanted the paperclips to shine so I used a silver glitter gel pen to colour them. I cut the circles with a Cricut die and two strips for the broader from some plain and coloured card. I then went around the outside of the white circle to make an edge with the gel pen. Lastly I glued on three metal hearts from my stash.

Birds and Bees

Hello and good evening.

I hope you are all enjoying your Saturday, it is raining here but I have had a nice day with my mum, dad and daughters. Hubby and the boys are at an outopush tournament getting ready for going away with team GB.

So I have made a bigger card than usual using a sketch from Tuesday morning sketches at http://tuesdaymorningsketches.blogspot.com/ it is really nice and

has allowed me to put two Tildas on. They are dragonfly Tilda and Tilda as a butterfly from the Chasing Butterflies collection from Sir Stampalot. I coloured them with copic's and stuck them on with foam tabs to add dimension. The paper, flowers hearts and word backing is a digi kit from Just So Scrapy Too and it is the Love Me Sweetly kit. I then punched the edge of the card with a heart boarder punch and added some buttons and brads from my stash. The sentiment is from a song by Bobby Goldsboro that I slightly changed to make a corny love verse. Lastly I found a skeleton leaf at the back of the draw that was just the right colour.

A kiss

This is a card I made using a sketch from Tuesday Trio http://tuesdaytrio.blogspot.com/2011/01/52-sketch-no.html which is so sweet. I have added a very old digital image which I have coloured with copics. The paper is from Just so Scrappy Too called April Showers at http://justsoscrappytoo.com/. To finish I added some flowers some buttons and some ribbons from my stash. Hope you like it, Lynn

Chinese New Year

Hello I am back to Tilda again, this time for Chinese New Year.

I have used some paper from a oriental kit that I got in a sale that did not have a front page but I think it is papermaina! I used the sketch from Create 4 Fun challenge at http://create4fun-challenge.blogspot.com, which went very well with the oriental theme. I had a go at writing the sign for rabbit with a stick (that is why it is a little wobbly) and made a dragon out of glitter. The Tilda is from Sir Stampalot and I coloured her with copic's. To finish I added some different jewellery and a ribbon from my stash.

Love is Sweet

I am back to write up the card I posted Yesterday. To start I must apologise as I can't find the file name from where I got the bear. All I can find is at the top of the file it says MD Love is sweet bear Freebie. I am sorry that I can't give credit so if anyone can help me with the name I would be grateful. Any way the papers are from Just so Scrapy Too, Love Me Sweetly Kit, at http://justsoscrappytoo.com/. I coloured the bear with copics and backed the card he is on with lace. I finished the card with hearts cut from the paper and some red diamond flowers.

Daisy Daisy give me you answer, Do

Hi I just saw this wonderful little sketch on Wee Memories challenge at suchins.blogspot.com and had to whip up this cute little card as I thought the paper was just right. It is a digital image from Shabby Princess which can be down loaded for free from

www.shabbyprincess.com/downloads.asp, it is called Sweet Sprinkles and I used the quick page. To give the card some dimention I printed out the ribbon and the ball boarder twice and stuck them and the Tilda on with foam tabs. The Tilda is Love me Tilda from Sir Stampalot. I coloured her with copic's and stamped a few more daisies to cut up as falling petals. lastly I added some Stickles sparkles to give it a little shine.

You can stand under my umbrella

Hello, today I have used the Penny Black Hedgehogs stamp 'Winter Snuggles' and a layout from the Penny Black Friends challenge at pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com. My stamp was a gift, but you can get it from www.pbstamps.com (I don't know this store but they do have the stamp). I coloured it with copic's and used the lovely paper from Katie Castillo's 'Classic Beauty' digital scraping kit from, justsoscrappytoo.com. Katie's kit are such great value and they have so many bits it is easy to make different projects with them. I coloured a small piece of the paper lilac on the computer, for my contrast. If anyone would like to know how to do this in photo shop I will show them, just let me know. The brads and ribbon where from my stash and the lilac flowers were from papermania. The other flowers I made following a great tutorial from Tim Holtz at timholtz.typepad.com which is part of the Just us Girls Challenge this week. Lastly the sentiment is from the 'The paper cupcake challenge' at theresmagicintheair.blogspot.com.
