Hello Everyone

I just wanted to show you the prototype for my daughters hen party invitations. I have made the box using a cream egg box as the template cut a hole in the top to allow the garland out. The flip flop is funky foam and card. I then added a flower garland as it is a tropical hen party and finished with a stamped tag. The invitations instructions are on the base of the box.  

I hope she likes it!

Hello everyone

Today I have made a card for the Gingerloft under the sea challenge with their lovely Dolphin silhouette digital stamp. This card is for my son to celebrate him getting into the British team for Octopush to play in the world championships in Holland.

I have used some recycled garden string, a wave’s image and a catch the waves embellishment to finish.

It's a kind of magic

Hello everyone

 I am starting to get better!!! It has been a long illness and I have found it hard to get back on my feet. Thank you to everyone who sent me get well wishes it made me feel good knowing people care.

OK, to day I have made a card for my mum, she loves fairies so I used the inspiration of the queen and the dragon from Cupcake Inspiration along with the sketch from CLP as a start. I then distressed all of the papers with sandpaper and ink then layered them up. Lastly I coloured the images with copic’s, glitter gel pens and added sparkles. What do you think she is either asking for trouble or she just wants to have fun? I can not make up my mind. I hope you like it Lynn

April showers bring May flowers

Hello everyone

I have made this card for Sally to say thank you for coming to help me today. I have tried to use a lot of different techniques on it to get the result I wanted. I have paper pieced the ducks, layered it, used a ribbon as a layer and a bow, punched flowers and used brads as their centres, embossed a flower ink stamp and coloured the digital image with copic’s. It took quite a long time but I think it turned out OK, what do you think?

Hello everyone

Still not 100% but I am a lot better, but if I make any mistakes I apologise as I am still not thinking straight.

So here goes I have made a treat set for Heather! I am not sure I will get them all finished by Sunday so the may have to share them!! I wanted them to have a vintage feel to them so I used a lovely set of embossed textured papers that I bought (sorry no name on them). Then I distressed them with sand paper and inked the edges to make them look old. For the images I wanted them to look like the old fashion Easter cards so I choose the adorable animals Tilda’s from the Magnolia Hoppy Easter collection and I coloured them with copic’s. My faviourte bit is the umbrella on the cart this was a very easy to make handmade embellishment from the pattern from Scor-pal at http://www.scor-pal.com/cart/index_files/Page394.htm.

Today I have made another layered card! Is that what it is called I am not sure does anyone know? Anyway I have used some of my older Magnolia stamps from a few years ago. The background is also an old digital set that I have cut curves out of to make layers. I have added lots of different punched flowers and of course lots of sparkles.
